A Monkey's Tale

Comedy Gala-ha-ha!

The Brighton Comedy Festival kicked off in fabulous & hilarious fashion with their opening night gala.

A host of brilliant & honed comedians opened up their funny, bizarre & at times ridiculous minds to the lucky patrons of the Corn Exchange at the Brighton Dome.

Particular highlights tonight were Adam Hills who chatted with audience members throughout & was great, & Jack Dee, who sang a few comedy tunes accompanied by his little guitar/ ukulele. Compared by Alan Carr, with Jon Richardson, Simon Evans, Sean Walsh (above, 'performing') & the amazing surprise guest Michael McIntyre, made for an absolute blast of a show.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening adventure & a reet hoot with Janice, George & Andy, right up to our car park antics (extensive reversing & a lack of paid up ticket at the barrier) & the eventful ride home.
