Lucky, lucky, lucky

Everything has been a bit A over T today. First day of daylight saving (thank goodness we are morning people). Visit to the Farmers' Market first thing, which proved to us that the best part of the Adelaide population are NOT morning people. We were in and out within half an hour.

Home to drop off the produce, and then onto our first Open Garden of the season at Al Ru farm, to the north east of the city. It's such a beautiful place and the garden is huge. I'm sure we didn't see all of it, there are so many paths, and twists and turns.

So, what to blip? I had choices. A kangaroo in a paddock eating a wisp of bright green grass (but MrRosewarne does the best Kangy shots ever); a portrait of a very skilled blacksmith demonstrating his art; flowers and bees, and bees and flowers; even a parade of a Mum woodduck and her 5 offspring.

But when I saw this shot I knew it had to be the one.

It looks like it's posed against a black backdrop, but no. Just lit by a stray spotlight of sunshine.

A handful of stamens.
