Beautiful Kowhai

This kowhai tree is growing at the top of my drive - I don't actually know whether it's in my property or the next door neighbours'. As their house has just been demolished, due to earthquake damage, and they've not been there since Feb 22 '11, I think the tree is probably mine :) I did blip another kowhai bloom earlier, but this image shows a clump of kowhai blooms, on the branch - and the murky background is the sea, quite a long way below.

It's another LensBaby shot, this time with the x4 macro lens. I'm sort-of getting the hang of it!

Much to my surprise, yesterday's cineraria hopped onto the bottom of Spotlight. Thanks for that!
