Afternoon Tea

Well. After living in our flat for over a year, we have finally had our house-warming! G & SweetArt spent many hours in the kitchen creating these goodies! We had banana & walnut cake, cupcakes, mini quiches, two types of sandwiches, a Victoria sponge and samosas (bought by me from outside). There was also dates with almonds, baklava and macaroons. Sadly, the scones didn't turn out right so weren't brought to the table!

Our friends who let us stay in their home for a whole month last year thoroughly enjoyed their visit, as did we, and we have now got a pot plant on the main balcony.

A good (if at times stressful) day. Tomorrow I go to work and then have 3 days off for Big Eid! SweetArt couldn't have timed her visit better. :)

AND, I believe I have finally caught up with most of you... just a few more to go. :)) Thanks for being so patient.
