A Night to Remember.

A grey morning does nothing to incite activity in the Dower House, especially after last night's evening of gastronomy at the Hotel du Vin.

You know you are eating in a restaurant of quality when the helpings, delicious and artistically presented, are barely enough to satisfy the hunger engendered by a day of slim pickings on the food front in readiness for the meal, and the cost of the wine vies with the fuel bill.

Nevertheless it was a romantic candle lit dinner for two, and hang the cost.
There are no pockets in a shroud and there are two of those ominously waiting in the background.

We returned to the hotel this morning for a picture shoot, but would like it known that this mural in no way reflects our exit last night.
