Early Timing

Time waits for no man and certainly not for His Lordship who was anxious to get my birthday present bought a good deal earlier than was necessary, given that the glad date is still a month away.
Still, what a lady is going to argue with a visit to the Pen Shop in prestigious Multrees Walk to select a fountain pen of such character as to make my eyes water not only with delight but awe at the shekels involved; so many in fact, that the proposed coffee in Harvey Nicks seemed a step too far and we adjourned to a less costly establishment.

It seems I might be in for a month of celebrations, and at my age what's not to like. It's best to take what is on offer - one never knows the moment.
