Poppy and her Master

Have hardly stopped today. But the kitchen is now all tidied with various unused items taken to the charity shop and others, like crystal brandy glasses and a dinner set that only sees the light of day at Christmas but takes up loads of room in one of the cupboards, boxed and put in the attic. We are trying to be more minimalistic and no stuff lying around but I am naturally messy so it's a challenge - see how long it lasts!

As there was a trip to the Charity Shop decided to have a wander up the High Street for a coffee and cake. As we got closer to this seat could see it was a cocker and of course we had to stop and chat and make a fuss of the pup. She is Poppy and was adorable. I could have lifted her off her owners knee and taken her home as a wee pal for Breagha. She was only 10 months old and had that soft puppy fur; she was just adorable.

Had a lovely risotto for tea and then some sort of Scandanavian cookie just out of the oven with a cuppa. Not really what I need to be eating as have put on half a stone since June and can feel my favourite pair of jeans are pretty tight. Another challenge, lose these extra pounds before Christmas....

Breagha has been going bonkers today over a toy that was unearthed in one of the kitchen cupboards. It's a squeaky pig and it's squeaked non stop since she got it!!!
