Bullseye Ray

Early start to the day to go on a hammerhead dive, with no luck. A different dive guide today who got to the bottom of the shot line and headed off on his own. Not impressed to the point words were spoken.

Second dive wasn't much better. Hopefully things will improve

Morning dive to go and see some hammerheads. After the boat finally put the anchor down and got into place we went for a dive. Only problem being that they put the shot in the wrong place and too far down the reef. Spent a while getting down on the shot line in the current. Came off the main reef to go to the northern section but no hammerheads.
Big swim back in the current to get to the shot line and had a long ascent.
Not much to see.

Down on the same site as this morning. This time we were taken to the front of the reef at the current point and we dropped down onto it.
On the way down we saw a sea lion on the current point. Not sure what he was doing that far out to sea but he didn't stick around to play with us.
We had just got settled when Bob lead us away from the point for some reason.

Drifted along the side of the reef looking at all the fish life. Saw a nice turtle swimming away.
Lots of surgeonfish and a few more morays
Came to the end of the reef and started to go along the other side before the current got too much and we had to turn around.
Got to the back of the reef and instead of hanging around the anchor line we went over to the northern rock for some reason. This meant that we were all then on a small shot line hanging in the blue while we gradually came up.
Nice dive but could have done with more time on the current point.

A new site that is a seamount with the top at around 20m. Down the anchor line and around the top of the sea mount. Lots of very nice coral and sea fans. Plenty of fish around.
Lots of green morays on the sides and top along with a couple of jewel morays as well.
Very nice dive to end the day with if a bit deep.
Had a swim by a turtle as we were hanging around on the way up.
