Lookout at Dry Falls, Washington

Evidence of an
enormous ice age water fall
enthralls us today.

The lookout at the Dry Falls Interpretive Center is not for those afraid of heights. On Route 17 and part of the Sun Lakes State Park, the lookout provides an eye level view of the historic falls of 20 000 years ago. Three and a half miles wide and 400 feet in height, this waterfall was said to be the largest waterfall ever in existence.
