Bridgewater Village Store

This is the only store in our tiny rural town. Built in 1899, it could be something straight out of Central Casting in Hollywood, or something seen on Disney World's Main Street -- the quintessential New England shop. Inside, there are marvelous, old creaky wood floors, and a very elaborate tin ceiling. You can buy basic groceries there, as well as sandwiches, salads, ice cream, and tea and coffee. The most wonderful thing for sale, though, is Bridgewater Chocolates. They were originally made right here, although they have become so popular they are now made in a larger facility in a neighbouring town.
