Big air

We headed down for a berbeque at Stenton today and ate sooo much food. As well as all the main course stuff there were four puddings. I took a tiramisu and our hosts Chris and Lizzie made two baked cheesecakes, one plain and one chocolate and a brandy bomb, which consisted of whipped cream, sugar, brandy and meringue all frozen then served with raspberries.

Eating all this on it's own would have been filling enough but following it with several beers and sessions on their trampoline left me feeling a bit green around the gills.

After all this we headed down to the field by th epark where the local kids had built ramps for their BMX's to try out the insanely powerful remote control car he bought supposedly for his son Leon but realistically for himself. Can you spot it in the picture?

I did have a bit of difficulty choosing a picture for today as I seem to have managed to take 293 shots throughout the day. There was only really one other serious contender though which was this shot of Roz and Chloe bouncing on the trampoline while family smith looks on and sporadic just looks worried.

It was a great day and the rain managed to stay off. Now we're going to settle down to a film and a relaxing evening on the couch. Maybe tomorrow I'll post the recipes for th etiramisu and home made burgers if anyone is interested.
