Busy afternoon on the river

It was a busy afternoon both on and beside the river today. After an overcast morning, the afternoon turned out to be beautiful, and the sunshine had drawn people out to enjoy it. Then whilst the last four or five times I've been walking by the river I haven't seen a single barge, today I saw five or six!
