Halloween 2013

Halloween is big at our house. Friends, family, neighbors, and trick-or-treaters.

Some of them (not the trick-or-treaters) come for Lisa's BBQ, and her sugar cookies. Real tasty on a scary, spooky, frightening night.

The rain of the night kept the treating crowd down. We probably ended up with about 300 kids. Most were well behaved...with plenty of thank-you's. But...when the boys show up with real beards...and the girls have boobs...perhaps it's time to hang up the costume. Just saying.

As usual...we got down to having just a handful of candy left. I have a feeling Benton (the Cookie Monster, and soon-to-be Son-in-law) was passing the candy out by the handful, and Merrick saw him...and followed suit.

My pumpkins went over big, with quite a few How did you do that questions.

Another Halloween...come and gone. The porch light is out...the pumpkins (minus the candles) are in my compost pile...all that is left in the candy bowl are Tootsie Rolls, and my blip is nearly finished.

That's Niya the chihauhau, dressed in skeleton, and Holly, the daschund dressed like a bee.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Muh-ha. MU-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!! (That was supposed to be the mucho scary big ending laugh.)
