Hospitality

Today's music-group host really pushed out the boat. We were in Swords, in north county Dublin, and I'd been very kindly given a lift there. We were quite few in number (just four including the host) because of people being away or otherwise unavailable. Those of us who were there were treated to a terrific display of hospitality, the music was enjoyable, the presentation (also courtesy of the host) was magnificent, and the host's suggestion that we go to Donabate for after-session refreshments rather than just go to the local pub turned out to be the perfect way to finish things off.

Just one of the nibbly options to go with the music and the coffee was a beautifully arranged selection of chocolate sweets. It was a bit of a kaleidoscope to begin with, but I couldn't resist the temptation to gild the lily and up the kaleidoscope effect.
