The Edge of the Wold

Dances with collies

Rowan's frisbee catching becomes ever more athletic. It took quite a few attempts in the brief interlude between showers at lunchtime to photograph him as he leapt and caught it.

Rowan's pet human, Sue, says that if Rowan and Gus were in school together, Gus would be teacher's favourite, top of the class - a good candidate for Head Boy. Rowan, on the other hand, is one of the naughty boys, not doing what he's told, always up to mischief and getting himself into trouble. He's a great character though, and always fun to be around. Gus was with his other human today, so he wasn't here to try and round Rowan up as we walked the big bend in the river. We missed him, and as I write this he is sitting next to me, occasionally nudging to remind me that he needs his evening walk in the woods. Better go, back later.
