Family Photos

It's quite a feat to get family photos taken. Recently we had a photographer take some outdoor autumn photos of our family. We had forgotten it was Farmer's Market day, so the place where we expected to park was filled with shoppers. The air was crisp and it was hard to keep the kids warm enough and then quickly take off the outer layers for the shoot. And, then there was the challenge of getting everyone to smile and look at the camera at the same time! It took until well into the photo shoot before our 2 year old grandson was prepared to smile. But when he did, he had the most playful smile.

Usually, I am taking the photos of our family, so this was a particularly nice gift to me - hiring a photographer so I could be in the photos with our family.
