'Lost Piggies :-('

We woke up this morning to find all of the guinea pigs missing. They were left overnight in the portable pen I made them on the front lawn, and it looks as if either a dog of a fox has pushed opened the part where the 2 halves join in the middle. It was pushed in which means that it's been done from externally not internally. I spent half an hour with the kids this morning after MsMun left for yoga searching around the house and the neighbours properties without any luck. We'll probably never know what happened which might be best. The kids have both taken it in their stride, but MsMun and myself feel their loss deeply as we've become very attached to the little critters.

Both kids have birthday parties today, Bella went to her classmates party at a park in Kew, while I dropped Dylan off at his mate Soren's house as they have a sleep over down at the beach in Torquay. Soren has invited eight of his closest mates for a camp out in tents in the holiday house backyard. We expect to see one pretty tired boy when they return tomorrow afternoon. Good on his mum and dad for taking on eight of them, they deserve a medal.

Went for a drive around our local area this arvo looking for a blip and came across this great little Billabong a couple of k's from home on one of the back roads. I'd never actually spotted it before. I guess that's one of the great things about wearing your blip goggles, you tend to find things that you normally wouldn't look twice at.

Much better viewed LARGE.

Quiet night in the Rosewarne household tonight without the boy.
