Yuma Conservation Garden

The wet and the dry,
the yin and the yang meets here
to educate all.

The garden is only open weekends and accomodates the snowbird season for us. The mission of this 28 acre property is to highlight the Sonoran desert vegetation and encourage stewardship of natural resources. There's desert cactus and there's a generous duck pond surrounded by palms.

During our walkabout we spied a ground squirrel, two jackrabbits and numerous lizards. Sorry. No photo evidence!!
