Ready for the limeight

Another lovely day, with lots of sunshine. This is the view across the fields that adjoin our garden, as the sun was casting long shadows this afternoon. Looking across to the Ghyll there is a range of trees. In a short while, the leaves will all be gone and the fir, that has been overshadowed all summer, will stand out on its own through the winter.
