Blackbird

I was outside having a wander in the garden and thought I would take a look at the Rowan berries as there were plenty there the other day. Most have now gone and this Blackbird, I think , had most of them. These berries were orange rather than the usual red and apparently the birds eat the red ones first, then the orange and then the yellow.

It has been a pretty grim day, abit of sun but windy and wet for most of it. The day seems so short now the nights are drawing in.

Forgot to say that we dressed in our pj's or onesies yesterday at Brownies to raise money for Children in Need. I was really pleased as we raised £53 :)
