Le Chat Noir

Tonight was my initiation into the English drinking book club. The wine was superb. The cheese platter divine.

The book...? Um, what book? Oh right, we did discuss it. Wuthering Heights. (Shudder.) No one liked it. Except KP. I tried in vain to convince them we should read Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects next. But none of them even read Gone Girl - which was brilliant.

I think maybe this book club is too sophisticated for me ;)
