Shades of autumn

It's always interesting to arrive home after a substantial break and see how the local environs have changed with the seasons. This view is of Dumgoyne at the end of the Campsie Hills, north Glasgow. This perspective shows a good range of colour still in evidence, from the sparse red leaves of the ornamental cherry in the foreground, to the orange and browns of the oak and beech trees in the middle distance.

Great to waken up to sunshine in the West, even although interspersed with inevitable sharp showers.
