Lady in red

It was a very cold and frosty morning when we headed for Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. They were stunning , so many different coloured leaves on the trees with a hard frost covering the ground. The sun was lighting up the castle that seems to balance on the edge of the rocks. Edinburgh seems to be full of interesting buildings and architecture.
This lady in red caught my eye as she walked down the steps with her Scottie dog in a tarten coat.

We visited the Scottish National Gallery. We saw Rodins The Kiss, Constables - The Vale of Dedham, the Skating Minister and many more interesting paintings and sculptures.

We are now back at home, snow on the ground and we now have the heating on full blast !

It's good to be home but we did have a fantastic time in Edinburgh and look forward to our next visit.
