Christmas Bauble in the Making

Today was one of those days when you try to look for a 'slow down' button on the calendar somewhere!!!

GK had for 'nights and nights' been in preparation for her DJ role at a joint big birthday party that former boss, Dianne and friend Chris, were celebrating to let everyone know when life begins again. I was her self appointed 'Roadie' at this fabulous bash....so it was the wee small hours before the volvo eventually headed back into Karama!!!! (2:30am to be precise!!! ..and precision is always good!)

This was my fast moving shot from a faster moving car as we headed out to the venue at around 5:45pm.

There's the sun surrendering to the clouds and the darkness swiftly drawing in. The skyline of Dubai didn't flinch.....it just causually delved into its abundant stock of fairy lights and lavishly clothed every tall structure in sight, as it does so every night!!! (but not always against so atmospheric a backdrop as those thunder clouds!) This was special.......

.....And I got to capture the magical moment!!! Hurray!

The bauble industry could take off big time here!
