Sailing, Just Sailing

Heading towards midnight and the pumpkin hour!!!

Just home from a fabulous dhow cruise along the creek, away from the madding crowds, with a couple of good friends, good food and a good bottle of wine!

What better way to spend an evening before KHDA Inspection tomorrow!. Two hours of just sailing.....fabulous end to a fabulous weekend!

This little number was smaller than the one we were on but really stood out with its fairy lights against the backdrop of the old wind towers.....(the original air conditioning). Not that we needed any tonight...it was cool and calm, even when we entered the open sea area at the mouth of the creek. There's nothing quite like it and since arriving in Dubai....a creek cruise has always accompanied my "once a year day"..long may it continue to do so!!!!

Perfection!! It can't get better than this.
