One of the greatest pleasures in life is reading a terrific book which is both fun and informative. Reading Atlas Shrugged, I'm learning about the USA during the great depression and also realizing how people always want to drag down people ahead of them. I believe this book teaches me much more important lessons than "synthetic division of polynomials" or "equilibrium of point-objects". I believe I would be much more interesting and knowledgable if I had time to read a book every week instead of learning things I will surely forget in a year or two. But I guess effective reading has to wait until summertime.
