Pico de Jaragua

Pico de Jaragua is one of the highest peaks near the city of São Paulo. If you get up to this peak, and yes the last 50 or 60 meters has to be climbed, you have a spectacular view of the city of São Paulo and the surrounding Serra da Cantareira (mountain ridge).
São Paulo is located at about 800 meters above sea-level. The mountain ridge to the north (serra da cantareira) has peaks of up to 1200 meters above sea-level.
On the two peaks two huge antenna towers are placed (not visible on the photo), just looking up to these tall structures, gives you a chill. if you have fear of height, don´t get up these towers.
