crossing ferries in port of Santos

In the channel which gives access to the port of Santos, there is a ferry service, for cars. The service maintains a connection between Santos and Guaruja. The demand for this service is high during weekends and the holiday period. And sometimes up to four or five ferries are in service simultaneously. I can imagine that the crew on the large cargo vessels get a little bit nervous, trying to keep track of that many small ferry-boats. The inbound/outbound cargo vessels however have preference. The Ferry skippers don't want to loose too much time and crosses just after a big cargo vessel has passed. It is always fun to watch this
spectacle, and just make some nice photo's of the cargo ships passing at a stone's throw distance.
