Bright day

I saw the sun glowing on these trees from half a mile away and chased them. A very marked case of the tree withdrawing nourishment from its extremities first. I’m not fond of winter but at least this sort of vision compensates for my cold extremities. Which I then made worse again by standing on the railway bridge for far too long taking pictures of the sun sinking behind the pylons, banks of cloud changing colour and the birds heading to roost.
