Ice Cold

Colder in large. The thermometer read a bit warmer today, but the air was so damp, it felt colder to me.

For some reason the critters and birds didn't spend much time around our house today and I didn't leave the area until after dark, so I needed something different to shoot. While I was shoveling snow from our steps I notice that the snow was slowly sliding off of my neighbor's metal roof and forming ice at the edges. Not a lot of light over there, but it was a convenient height and a covered area to shoot from, so I gave it a try. I gave it a little more contrast and sharpened it a bit and this is what I ended up with.
