Celestial Romance

Had better photos, but exciting to see the waxing crescent moon flirting with Venus (can you see her bottom left?) just after susnset today - not sure I've ever seen them together in England before.

On a walk along the Newhall Valley, saw four huge conifers that had come down in the wind and another bending the metal fence, right across the path everyone walks on - glad there were no bodies underneath...

M also called me out to see a complete rainbow arching over the Kings Arms about midday.
