A day of diversions!

Well forecast was exactly correct.... A winter storm indeed! Eventually left our accommodation to drive north to Glencoe...easy peasy north to Glasgow then A82 along Loch Lomond etc.....oh no it wasn't!

A82 blocked with fallen trees, drove back to Lomond Shores for lunch, then drove over the back roads to Callendar out of the four roads to chose from 3 were blocked with fallen trees! Eventually reached Callendar on A84 90 minutes later!

The journey ended well, spectacular scenery, snow covering from Glenogle, lots of flooding in the fields, arrived in Glencoe just as the light was fading!

My visitors a re delighted to be staying in Glencoe, we are off to sample some of the whisky now!
