Taking it all in

It was Greenhead Farmers' Christmas Market this morning. We love the monthly markets and always try to go to the Christmas one.

It took ages to see the stalls because we kept meeting friends. We also saw the embroidered map of Northumberland that we have both contributed to. My snail and Mum's sheep are already stitched onto the map. It is looking very good overall.

This young lady was snugly wrapped up against the weather and was watching everyone carefully. I loved her watery blue eyes and asked permission to take her photgraph.

Our freezer is now stocked with delicious meat and we've just enjoyed smoked trout pate with ginger and orange.

Finishing the first draft of the Spring Walking Festival programme for discussion tomorrow. I think it gets easier, but no quicker to do!!
