New horizons

... new shiny things! My new Macbook arrived today ... deciding the old one wasn't going to survive much longer coincided with Apple having a sale on Black Friday, so I saved 100 euros on it.

Of course Apple being Apple, the adapter for my external monitor that fitted the old Macbook doesn't fit the new one, so before I can definitively replace it I have to spend more money on a new adapter. Sigh! In the meantime I can admire its new shininess ...
