Blue Christmas

I hit the shops today, or should I say shop. I can find nearly everything I want at John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City and I love the helpful staff.

I noticed droppings under a tree outside the store and was reminded of the pied wagtail roost that takes place in it. Must shoot those birds one evening.

It was dark when I neared home and I realised I hadn't got the camera out so I took a bit of a detour and shot the lights outside a sweet little cottage. Don't know why the little deer has huge antlers. :) I am not actually that keen on blue Christmas lights, they lack cheer and make me feel a bit blue.
