The morning after

First thing this morning we had to return to the wedding venue to recover any remaining floral arrangements. The converted barn which has been adapted for use for weddings and its extensive grounds looked lovely in the soft December sunlight.

A long drive home, stopping en route to visit my sister who is suffering an extended stay in hospital.
