We might have moved north but in our hearts we're West Londoners- as is evidenced by the fact that we chose to drive to Westfield Shepherds Bush to do our Christmas shopping.

We actually did pretty well, getting most people sorted in less than an hour. We were so impressed we headed over to the restaurant terrace for a celebratory wagamamas.

Charlie had a got a little shouty earlier in the shopping trip so I gave him one of his presents early - his own little toy iPhone. He played with it before the food arrived but once it was here his eyes were only on my rice, so he shared my dinner as well as having own! Robin's was hoovered up before the boy could get a look on. Joey doesn't share food ;)

After going boot shopping for me now that my old faithfuls have died a death, Charlie was getting rather fed up, especially when I didn't buy any after trying a load on!

By the time we got him into the car he'd had enough so it was a straight on with one of the 8 nursery rhyme CD's Carole had given him. Within 10 excruciating minutes (due to the cd, not Charlie) the little man had fallen asleep and XFM was back on. Phew!
