Patchwork

8.1C some cloud early then bright and cloudy again by evening. Breezy.

Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound, and I had a visit to Broughty Ferry this morning. Maeve stayed in the car while Apothecary7 and I had a wander round the charity shops and had the annual hunt for a Christmas card for each other.

In one charity shop Apothecary7 spied a little brown jug (anyone got the tune in their head now?) for putting some paint brushes in (to replace a coffee jar). Turned out it was from Crail pottery. Bargain.

We went back to the car and got Maeve and took her for a walk. We mostly walked round the town though. It was bitter on the seafront and I confess to not having either hat or gloves with me.

When we got back home we went for a short walk out the country road with Maeve. Up by the church I took this shot over the countryside towards Arbroath. Some fields ploughed. Some not. Quite a patchwork.

A new bottle of anti inflammatory medicine for Maeve is ready for pickup on Tuesday morning.
