Bridal Veil Sunset

Not quite a sunset yet but well on the way. Guess what ... hubby went with me today! Yaayyy!

Shot taken at Borssele, his favourite beach. This is in another municipality in Zeeland and quite a long way from where I usually go. He used to come here fairly often to look for fossils -- shark teeth of the Charcharon Megalodon variety, of which we now have quite a collection. This is also the beach where we usually go when friends are with us and everyone is in the mood (more meanings here than you can imagine). By itself, though, Borssele is also where we have our one and only nuclear plant, which the Dutch are quite leary about. It doesn't have to shut down but it's not exactly allowed to be fully operational either. We see it as taxpayer's money idling away its time ... on the beach.

Needless to say, wonderful weather. Tonight, I think I'll watch the 5-hour Indian film about the life, love and wars of the Mogul Emperor Akbar. And oh yea ... finish my year's end bookkeeping. So far everything adds up so just the final entries leading up to the end of this month.

Have a very good and jolly and cozy weekend, folks!
