A Day Worth Recording

By Cheeseminer

Monopole

Much more pleasant day today. A relaxed start followed by Meeting. Lunch was big affair as we had 'A', Ellis and Caitlin with us making eight, so we had a pre-Christmas meal of roast chicken.

To mark the occasion we opened the last bottle of champagne in the 'cellar'. We're not great champagne drinkers hence waiting for the occasion when we can share it. It was rather nice.

This bottle, according to the mark I made on it, was from our 25th Wedding Anniversary and from a friend we've not seen much recently. He bought us a bottle before, which we've still got: one that we found (and, um, emptied) in our hotel room on our wedding night. If you're watching - thanks 'M/G'.

A bit of a leg stretch after lunch, during which I took a few shots of the sunset. Then over to the neighbours who were holding an open house with drinks and nibbles.

'A', E, J and Ellis have gone to the Carol Service. I'm backblipping, M seems to be playing music backwards, and S is doing something else.
