Afternoon Walk

Hubby was miserable after yesterday's boat ride and was sick up to lunchtime today ... but had taken Ibuprofen this morning and so was up and about in the afternoon. We walked along Ataturk Street and then along the coast, at the top of the cliffs, exploring (almost) every nook and cranny of Ataturk Park (we avoided the tourist shops and other traps) and taking regular rests. All along at the top of the cliffs there are cafes, bars, restaurants and bistros like this one. The weather was spectacular ... or were we just more rested in comparison with yesterday? I think both. Anyway, it was a most sunny afternoon!

Going to Myra (St. Nick's original bishopric) tomorrow while hubby will hang around here to rest some more, so that he'll be really fit for our Cappadocian weekend! Now that is something I am looking forward to!
