'Happy New Year'

Technically a backblip as it's just a few minutes past midnight now on the 1st January 2014.

Wishing everyone in Blipland a Happy & Safe New Year. Looking forward to seeing all of the fantastic shots that I will have the pleasure of viewing in the coming year.

A huge collective THANK YOU for the response to yesterdays blip, it seems that after almost getting myself arrested it was worth it to get a half descent shot. It's gone straight to the top of my most favourited images ever, I'm truly humbled.

Tonight after a quick visit to MsMun's cousins New Years Eve party, we took the kids into the city to watch the early 9:30pm fireworks display. It was packed around the MCG at Yarra Park, with maybe 100,000 people or so. Apparently the city was expected to be even busier with around 600,000 people expected to watch the main fireworks display at midnight (too late for our munchkins to stay awake for). The city has set up about 5 or 6 live sites around the city to cater for everybody.

Made a good start on the new guinea pig enclosure today. The weather was just perfect and it was so enjoyable being outside doing something I love to do. Hoping to have it all finished by tomorrow evening. Let's see how I go with it.
