Leftover of a baseball stadium

View from our hotel we are staying to welcome the new year.
The leftover of the outfield of a baseball stadium in the middle is something special for Hiroshima citizens since the baseball team Hiroshima Carp was using this place for decades.

After taking care of grandama taking her to the hospital for a drip, our family members gathered in this hotel in the center of Hiroshima next to the A-bomb dome and have enjoyed a dinner together this evening.
Father works in the US, grandparents and mother lives in Hiroshima, brother and I work in Tokyo. Therefore I should make the most of this precious opportunity where all of the members are here in Hiroshima.
