Old friends.

People have told me 'Betty, Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with old friends ...' At my age, if I wanted to keep in touch with old friends, I'd need a Ouija board.

When my parents moved back up to Scotland over 11 years ago now, they transplanted this photo frame from my room in the old home to 'my' room in the new one.

This is my friend, Millie (on the right). We used to do Youth Theatre together every summer as teenagers. This photo was taken half my life time ago, and it's years since we actually saw each other. We live a long way from each other, that's the reason/excuse/explanation. She's expecting her first baby in 2014. I think she'll be an amazing mum.
