New Year and a New Start

At the beginning of the year, people spend so much time setting promises to themselves that are ultimately doomed to failure. So apart from crossing your fingers behind your back when these "promises" are announced, what more can you do?

Simple, set ultra realistic short term goals...

For example, instead of saying "I'm going to quit smoking", try "I'm not going to have a smoke at all today, and tomorrow I'll see how much better I feel". See, simple short term goals can help a lot - also if you do slip back then you will not hate yourself half as much... after all every small step helps.

So for today my goal is simple:

TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION
