Parallel lines

I was hoping to get some good photos of the views around Fort William today, but the weather wasn't playing. At least it wasn't windy or wet, though you can see that the rain was not far away, and the parallel lines of seaweed are clear signs of the recent storms.

We planned to go for a short walk up Glen Nevis without the teens, but they all decided to come with us. They strode ahead though, clearly determined to get the exercise over and done with as quickly as possible. I had planned to blip them, but they wouldn't stop and pose.

We headed back down the road to Glasgow after a late lunch. Not the best of drives, overcast at first, and dark from the top of Loch Lomond. Mhairi and Iain were disappointed that we didn't stop at the Real Food Cafe on the way down, so they went out to get fish and chips from the local chippy instead. It's still the holidays, but Andrew is working tomorrow and it will be back to reality next week for me.

Sound Illustration Challenge is a great track from the Blondie 'Parallel Lines' album!
