Oh yes we did!

Change of plan today, but thankfully we pulled victory out of the jaws of defeat. A brisk walk/trail run round the local 'cut' was planned but it was too rainy and windy so we had to come up with a plan B. After a morning visit to the gym, we went for lunch and then to the local panto. Our lunch venue was the Albany, a recently refurbished old church that's been beautifully restored to a haven for food, arts and, it would seem, old fashioned sweeties. I snapped these inviting jars on a cart outside the restaurant. With sweeties in hand, we headed to another fantastic local venue - the brand new Beacon Arts Centre for the matinee performance of Jack & the Beanstalk. Hilarious! An afternoon supporting local business and great fun was had by all.
