That's oneriver (Pennybun's tag/project) also, the one photograph I took today, in the wind and rain as I went to the postbox.
Otherwise it was another day of duvet on the sofa and trying to get the garbage uplifted (and the stupider residents to stop using the bin-chutes...) I'm pretty exhausted, but now feeling a bit less like a zombie...
As to the #oneriver, this counts as the mouth (almost). The buildings that come in from the right (up to the Tower, if you know the Shore) were built on a headland where the Water of Leith debouched into the Firth of Forth, everything past that is reclaimed land.
After all the wild wind and water of the last couple of weeks, the mudbanks have reappeared in the centre of the river.
