Hey presto! There are more than a few bonuses to finishing work a little earlier, daylight for instance being one of them. Poor brolli, what plum thought you would win in a tussle with the wind!? RIB (Rest In Bin). The wind & rain have been atrocious lately, our leaking kitchen (& now damp bedroom) ceiling are testament to that.

It's finally Friday & a weekend of simply nothing awaits. Oh bliss.

A sweet potato & bacon hash recipe from one of our new cook books & James Bond 22 have ushered us gently into the evening. Turns out, Quantum of Solace is not as mediocre as I remembered. I mean there is a lot of action, & minimal dialogue, but it ain't half bad.
