Blown away (nearly)

Headed up to Whitelees windfarm on Eaglesham Moor late this afternoon just before the light vanished. It was blowing a gale and consequently very difficult to stand still in the wind. On the positive side the windfarm was busy generating lots of power and at least it was dry.

However my hands got so cold, so quickly that I only stayed a short while. Although to be honest the light was fading fast, so there wasn't a great deal of point in staying much longer anyway. I chose this shot to blip as I like the silhouettes of the turbines against the sky.

Looks better large and in a dark room.
